75 cardboard soldiers, fitted and ready for battle. You have spent the last few weeks testing and tweaking the deck with your small team. Early on you realized that Esper would be your best choice and you’re feeling confident your list will do well against the predicted metagame, consisting of lots of GW and Esper.

A knock on your door interrupts your train of thought. You pause for a moment before rolling out of bed to answer it. It’s Andrejs Prost, a member of your team. He claims to have found a sweet new deck that he’s going to play. He hands you a stack of sorted cards.

You flip through the deck, considering each card. It certainly looks promising. You discuss a few of the card choices and how it will match up against the expected field. The maindeck counters should give you an edge against other control decks and the sideboard plan might be good enough against weenie decks. It shouldn’t be difficult to borrow the cards you need if you want to switch decks.

“What do you think you’ll play?” Andrejs asks.
