Insayne Hayne, indeed! ManaDeprived.com’s and Team Face to Face leader Alexander Hayne has won Grand Prix Vancouver 2014!

But that’s not all… Hot on his heels was ManaDeprived.com writer and Team Face to Face pro Jon Stern, who slew Pro Tour Hall of Famer William Huey Jensen in his win-and-in match to seal up the final top 8 slot, and then faced and fell to his friend in an epic semi-final, taking 4th place overall.

Just wait, there’s more! Not content to let his friends Alex and Jon show him how it’s done, our own fearless leader and Captain Canada, Kar Yung Tom battled right alongside them to a superb 12-3 finish, landing in 11th place for prize money and Pro Points, and not to mention his best individual Grand Prix result to date.

In this last major event of the current Standard format, Alex piloted UW Control, while Jon and KYT both choose to rely on the dominating power of Mono-Black Devotion. Alex and Jon’s decklists can be found here on the official coverage page, while KYT’s Mono-Black list also won him 2 byes at a GP Trial grinder on Friday and can be found on Day 1 of the official coverage.

Congratulations to Alexander, Jon, and KYT!!!
