Matt Pippy is the St. John’s Open Champion!

This past weekend, we went out to the most easterly province of Canada for our first Open since Pro Tour Eldritch Moon to see how the players in St. John’s would react to the new decks presented by the pros. Some players decided to try the new toys while others stuck to what they had and knew how to play.

At the end of the day, Matt Pippy piloted Sultai Control, which was not a particular popular choice at the Pro Tour, to become the St. John’s Open Champion!

Congratulations Matt!
