This week on the Eh Team Show, Crap Chat mogul Jay Boosh returns, and is joined by that star of the summer blockbuster movies, “Ptarmicon I” and “Ptarmicon II”, Jeremey Schofield. Jer had fun playing Restore Balance at a Modern tournament this week. KYT was at the Modern WMCq this past weekend in Toronto, but sadly did not win it. They discuss Vincent Thibault’s Merfolk deck, who lost his win-and-in to the eventual winner (playing Scapeshift). Despite losing early, KYT still feels confident that Affinity is his deck of choice in Modern. The pros and cons of holding an important competitive Magic tournament within a busy convention. What makes a good competitive tournament vs a good casual tournament. The guys look at some of the recent BFZ spoilers, like the enemy manland Lumbering Falls, and the new Kiora and Ob Nixilis. KYT advises which decks he advises playing in Modern (GP Oklahoma City) and the upcoming Standard WMCq in Montreal.
