Happy 2012 Everybody!!
To kick off the new year right this weekend is CMT Montreal on Saturday January 7th 2012. If you haven’t heard it’s a team trio event, and if you still haven’t found partners but want to go, you can either hit up the facebook page for the event here, or even show up before registration and get lucky enough to find some stragglers who also need partners. Of course if the main event isn’t of interest, make sure to bring your decks as there will be plenty of side events with sweet prizes.
Now I’ll assume many of you are saying “But William, we’ve already heard this before and to top it off we live too far away to make it.”
And if this is what you are saying, then I’ve got good news for you!
All day Saturday for the preliminary rounds, as well as the Top 8, yours truly will be providing Mana Deprived with exclusive live coverage of feature matches each round of the top teams at the event so that even if you cannot make it, but still want to stay up to date on some of the action, you’ll be able to. Added to that, I will ensure that each round is a different format so that everyone gets a taste of each format. And to improve on my first shot at coverage from Canadian Nationals, I will have my laptop so the writing will be smoother than when I was writing on the iPad but to top it off … there will be pictures! The goal is to try and achieve something professional like Wizards, and if you can leave comments as to what should be changed and improved for the next event I would greatly appreciate it.
