The past 3 days have been very exciting for the new Modern format. Magic Online has had non stop action with many different archetypes rising to great success. I’ve played in 5 Daily Events so far and finished in prize 3 times with Mono Green Zenith Post (2x 3-1) and Fling Affinity (1x 4-0). After playing, the format seems very fun and open and I can’t wait to see what the players at PT Philadelphia brings to battle for that top prize.

WOW, now that’s variety! I think that this PT is going to be one for the ages and I’m very sad I’m not qualified for it 🙁
This many decks doing this well is probably going to make for a great and healthy format. Unless something gets too out of hand in Philly, Modern will definitely be here to stay.

I’ll be back next time with my thoughts on the leading performance of the various 12 Post archetypes, as well as my experience playing some of them a few times this week. Until then, take care and keep slinging those spells!
