Asking Dan how he felt about the deck moving forward, he had this to say:

I don’t see any reason not to play Dark Jeskai. It’s just the best deck, but people are definitely going to adapt. I see the ramp decks as potential trumps (same style of deck as the one in the top 8 of Quebec City). I had cut the [card]Disdainful Stroke[/card]s from my deck but I could see wanting to have them back for next weekend. I would want some number of [card]Mastery of the Unseen[/card]s or something similarly powerful for the mirror as I was not well built to beat it.

Canadians littered the top 8, clinching 5 spots. One of them was Quebec City resident Pascal Maynard. Alexander Hayne once again put up another strong result, finishing in 10th with Atarka Red. Ricky Chin also did a great job of showcasing to naysayers that his Pro Tour top 8 might not be a fluke, posting a 14th place finish. We’re excited to see how the rest of his season plays out.

And finally we’d love to give Derek Lansche some love for his 16th place finish as well after he had just won an MDSS 5K the weekend prior with Bant Metamorph.

With the high number of Dark Jeskai decks in the top 8, which deck does everyone think is poised to win Grand Prix Indianapolis next weekend?
