@manadeprived KYT you make me sad in your first 5 picks 🙁 don’t make me sad you are supposed to be my hero!
@Spencer13H Am I drafting THAT poorly? I’m sorry. 😉
Spencer13H Just realized that I posted the wrong video. You watched my first draft video where I passed Pacifism, Pacifism, didn’t you? 😉
KYT… This is the first draft you did, followed by games from the second. See if you can get us the second draft up there, I’d love to see it 🙂
Semulin
Semulin That’s kind of embarassing. Posted the wrong video! Should be fixed now.

Kyt, why main deck the walking corpse when you're playing the red ring over a krenko's command? Krenko's Command can at least clear out some of the x/1's so your brute can come in later and not have to deal with them.
I also like the second command over the hatchling. I've been unimpressed with hatchling every time I've played him. Definitely not taking mark of the vampire after first picking the muckwader was pretty loose. You don't really want to go into 3 colors in your first 2 picks and the mark is a slam dunk in any deck with black or worse case it's easy to splash.
With double krenko's I think you definitely wanted at least 1 of the two drop vamps that sacs a guy to get +2/+2.
Your line at the start of r1g2 seems subpar. I think you just want to turn 2 hatchling, t3 ring equip and just start growing your hatchling. At least that way every creature you play from then on has the added text of pay 1 colorless gains haste and every red creature becomes a legit threat if he doesn't deal with it.
I only had time to really look at the board for this situation last night. Could you see yourself running the Ring first? They both amount to the same thing right? Trying to see if there's a difference.
Ring first is fine too I guess. That way if you draw a better two drop than hatchling you can play it instead. Might be worth the information to hold the ring second though. Chances are playing a turn 2 hatchling isn't going to influence your opponent's decisions at all but turn two ring might? Also your round 1 opponent was pretty much brain dead so it probably doesn't matter either way.
Any analysis is worthy regardless of the end result. That's why you wrote so much text in the first place, brother! I think you have convinced me that turn 2 Ring is the play. I hate Hatchling. 😉
r2g1 turn 4, why not play the swamp? Lets you get in with your hatchling, pump 2 (3 dmg total) and sign in blood.
Round 3?
Not sure if it's mentioned at the end of the Round 2 video but I ended up splitting because I thought my deck was sub-par.
Oh KYT, whatever happened to your drafting skills.. should come learn from me or kirk once in a while instead of being a lazy bum!
I'm not the one who got ROLF stomped on Day 1 of GP Boston! 😉
ouch
He started it… 😉
Yes but you forget that Day 1 is sealed. Day 2 is draft in which these vids accurately reflects the skills of some nameless individual…
Says another Day 1 failure…
haha. Oh kyt! Take the criticism well! 😛 We just pushing your buttons! And I didnt get ROFLstomped, just out lucked on topdecks on the tight games i lost. Anyways, to point out, i think i would have started green 1p1p
Hey, just letting you know I can ditch it too. 😉 To be clear, are you saying you would have taking the Primal Huntbeast P1P1?
Yar, just simply cutting green out of the pack, i think you were a bit of everywhere to begin with and had no clue!
Kenny Fung? Barry Hum? Kyriakos Michelakis? Andrew Wagner? I need more outside insight because I don't think I'm even considering the Huntbeast, so I might be doing something VERY wrong.
I would've taken the Harbor bandit, as I hate red and love UB control in draft.
Thanks for the reply Kenny Fung. I think the more I think about it, the more I would auto-pick Muckwader if I run into this situation again. Why? Because if I don't get either RB or UB, then a 2/1 for 2 is more playable than a 2/2 for 3.
I think you may have been better off playing all the two drops and 15 -16 land. Cutting the curve right down and trying to steal some games. 17 land seems like too many.
Turns out I posted the wrong video for the first one. FIXED.
I stopped watching after you didn't pick the door to nothingness the second time. Your opponent just flat out loses the game from that card what other card in this set does that? Given your lack of skill I bet you passed battle of the wits later on too…
On an unrelated note your first rounds opponent was hilariously awful.
Brad Grant 😉 Thanks for watching, buddy!
