F2F Tour Toronto CommandFest is in the books. Three days of Magic ran August 21–23 at the Montecassino Hotel and Event Centre, with Commander pods, sealed events, Two-Headed Giant, drafts and a full slate of competitive qualifiers. The halls stayed busy all weekend, and several events sold out. The full photo gallery is up now. Here are a few highlights.

From the first pods of the morning to the last games of the night, there was always something firing, and a number of capped events filled up before the weekend even began.

And CommandFest is always about more than what’s happening at the tables: cameras were rolling around the hall all weekend, and the artist alley stayed busy between rounds.

Winners were crowned all weekend long, from Commander pods and chaos sealed to the Pre-Con Commander Grand Melees, the CEDH Canadian Champs and the marquee qualifiers. A few of them:

Modern Super Qualifier

Sunday’s Modern Super Qualifier came down to a tight final between Andrew Mahieu’s Neoform combo and Marshall Gu’s Izzet Prowess, with Mahieu taking it 2–1 for the invite. Nj Pandes (Boros Energy) and Tobe Darton (Rakdos Prowess) rounded out the Top 4.

Legacy Champs for Duals

With dual lands on the line, Dominic Harvey finished on top of Sunday’s Legacy Champs for Duals field with Cephalid Breakfast, ahead of Phil Russo’s Dimir Tempo and Logan Caruso’s Mono-White Stompy.
