Canada’s Magic Store returned to the RAI floor. Amsterdam did not disappoint.
From July 17 to 19, MagicCon: Amsterdam brought the global Magic community together at the RAI Amsterdam, and Face to Face Games was back on the show floor with Canada’s Magic Store. Booth H1-1840 became a little corner of home in the heart of Europe. Over three days, thousands of players stopped by to shop, sell, trade, and share the game we all love.
Here’s how it went.
A Booth Built for the Community
If you’ve visited us at an F2F Tour stop, the setup felt familiar. We just scaled it up for the RAI. Buying stations lined one side, cases of premium singles ran down the other, and the shelves stayed stocked with sealed product from the latest sets. The aisles were packed from open to close all weekend.
Whether players came to offload a collection, hunt down that one missing single, or simply talk Magic with our team, the booth stayed at the heart of the action the entire weekend.
Now Open: Face to Face Games Rotterdam
Here’s the best part: we didn’t just visit the Netherlands for the weekend. We’re here to stay. We recently opened Face to Face Games Rotterdam, our new brick-and-mortar store, and we spent all weekend at MagicCon spreading the word. It brings the same standard of excellence you know from Canada, now with a permanent home in the heart of Rotterdam.

Power Boosters and a Pull for the Ages
Our Power Boosters made the trip too, and they were every bit the draw we hoped they’d be. Each pack is a shot at some of the most iconic cards in Magic’s history. This weekend, one lucky player proved it!
Yes, that’s the real deal. One of the standout moments of the entire event was watching a player crack a Power Booster right at our booth and pull a legendary Power 9 card, a Mox Ruby! Moments like that are exactly why we do this. The reaction said it all.
A Taste of Home (and of the Netherlands)
We couldn’t show up in Amsterdam without a little hospitality. Visitors to the booth could grab a free treat on us. That meant a Dutch stroopwafel to celebrate our hosts, or a Canadian Coffee Crisp for a taste of home. (For the record: the Coffee Crisps were a hit.)
Marvel’s Super Heroes Steals the Show
It’s impossible to talk about MagicCon Amsterdam without talking about Marvel’s Super Heroes. The set was everywhere. The massive Thanos display towered over the show floor, and booster boxes flew off our shelves. Seeing the crossover art brought to life at that scale was a genuine highlight, and the energy around the release carried through the entire weekend.
The Best Part? You.
The cards were great. The people were better. Over three days we met first-timers and longtime friends, players who’d traveled from all over the continent, and more than a few who were thrilled to find Canada’s Magic Store on European soil.
The trades were great. The conversations were better.
